Holyoke Loves The 4th

DSC_0010

With perfect weather on Sunday how could I stay away from HCC, and the Holyoke Fireworks. I had a nice picnic with friends who live close to the campus, and walked in before dark.

The playing field was filled with family friendly fun, and kids were everywhere having a great time. Everyone was in good spirits. I didn't see a single angry face, or hear a nasty word from anyone the whole time.

After wandering around, and running into to random friends I settled in a nice spot to watch some kids play a pick up game while waiting for the theatrics to begin.

It's cool seeing your shots from the different perspective than mine. I wish it had been a little darker before they started though.

It was so unfortunate that I had to miss the Holyoke display. But it looks like it was a great turn out. I did hear great things about the display.

Great shots Joey! I was so pleased that I figured out how to shoot them. It's an unique photography subject to be sure.

Sorry you missed out Jeff. Maybe we'll make Pixel Club event of it next year.

I thought it was a great event. The night was perfect, and I am glad we had clear skies for it. So great to see so many people enjoying themselves.
As always, great photos-

Hey Max, I've been totally distracted by other things the past two weeks, but just for you I'll stay up late and post something.
